I'm new to NetBSD and am trying to burn a bootable sparc64 cd to load NetBSD on
a SunBlade 100. I downloaded the sparc64cd.iso file to a NetBSD i385
workstation. I'm looking at pages 188 - 191 of the NetBSD Operating System
Guide to find the correct commands to burn the CD and am not sure exactly how to
proceed.

The OS Guide page 188 states that the iso image must be created on the hard
drive with the mkisofs program. The command on page 189 is:

mkisofs -flrTv -o cdimage mydata/

I'm not sure how the iso image file I downloaded fits here. It almost appears
as though this command is intended to pick up files from the mydata directory
and create an iso image from those files and the result would be the iso image I
already downloaded. Since I have an iso image do I skip the "Creating the ISO
Image" on page 189 and proceed to "Writing the image to CD" on page 190?

Also, would the command to write the image to CD be the same as on page 190
except to replace "cdimage" with "sparc64cd.iso" such as:

cdrecord -v speed=2 dev=/dev/rcdld sparc64cd.iso

I would appreciate any help. This is my first time working with NetBSD and it
has been great so far.

Jim
