sorry for a little bit off-topic question probably belonging to other lis=
t...


is anyone of you running xwindows on targa visionary 15" lcd
reported by X -configure as ACT V15? all frequencies seem to be
ok and corresponding to manual, but for 1024x768 i can see 
very heavy flickering. 800x600 mode is ok.
log says that 
virtual size is 1024x768 (pitch 1024)
default mode 1024x768: 78.8mhz, 60.1khz, 75.1 hz
...
i used normal 17"crt with the same graphics card s3 trio 3d/2x
in 1024x768 without any problems.

btw, what's the easiest way to turn on virtual workspace, i.e. for
example for 800x600 resolution to have 1024x768 accessible?
i probably forgot the right keyword... :(
