My document is how I did it with 1.6.1 (I copy-pasted the actual commands with
mouse) so that method is tested and 100% functional. I've used this method on
several 1.6.2_RCx production servers at work.

However, I have also the latest -current on my home server and it has RAID-1
without the extra partition. Even though I'm using the bleeding edge
version of NetBSD, it has worked without any problems so far. The reason for
using -current is that I think it is be easier to upgrade to 2.0 when it
comes out. So my advice is: don't be afraid of using -current.
