Hi,

does anyone know, where is links networking code different, that the one
found in konqueror? I've got a 115kbit/s connection -- while its usage is
about 80% - 90% it is impossible to use konqueror or Opera (it cannot even
finish DNS query, and even if it can, the pages load very slow and usually
don't load whole at all -- I've got some images missing, propably because of
DNS problems and problems with initiating connection). On the other hand,
links can do DNS query and load the page; its network access is not blazing
fast, but it is at least stable (eg. DNS queries don't return false "host
not found", I am able to download anything I want).

Every app use the same resolver settings.

Does anyone know a solution how to make konqueror networking better?
