I already have this...

<snip>
baal: {241} pkg_info jdk
Information for jdk-1.1.8nb4:

Comment:
Sun's Java(tm) Development Kit

Required by:
xerces-j-1.2.0
xalan-j-1.2
</snip>

But to use Batik SVG viewer I need the Java Virtual
Machine 1.3 or greater. I find that this is available...

/usr/pkgsrc/lang/sun-jdk14

So my question is, can I upgrade? or have both? or
must I choose only one other the other? I want to employ
the Batic SVG viewer. But I can't give up Xalan since I
generate all my HTML nowadays via XML masters care of
XSLT via Xalan per the O'Reilly XSLT Cookbook.

TIA,

Gan
