Hi.

Hope you all had a great Holiday!

We're using NetBSD 1.6 and want to change NICs to a 3Com 3C905CX-TXM.

The system boots and gives me this:

Dec 29 13:38:52 aquaduct /netbsd: ex0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0: 3Com
3c905C-TX 10/100 Ethernet with mngmt (rev. 0x78)
Dec 29 13:38:52 aquaduct /netbsd: ex0: interrupting at irq 12
Dec 29 13:38:52 aquaduct /netbsd: ex0: MAC address 00:0a:5e:04:d6:1b
Dec 29 13:38:52 aquaduct /netbsd: exphy0 at ex0 phy 24: 3Com internal media
interface
Dec 29 13:38:52 aquaduct /netbsd: exphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX,
100baseTX-FDX, auto

Sooo....when I use ex0: as the device and enter in ex0 in rc.conf and
rc.local, the system hangs on bootsup after starting apache. If I hit
Ctrl-C and get to my prompts, I am able to ping myself, do a route show but
the traffic can;t leave my system.

If I use exphy0: , it boots up fine, but I can;t ping myself or get out of
my system.

What files to I edit when changing network adapters? I thought those were
the only 3 that needed any attention.

Thanks
Frank
