the font is hard-coded there. if it's not,
i've never found any command in the open firmware
tree to play with it :)

setting X wasn't hard (well your machine might
be different than mine). on the ibook you have
the choice between using framebuffer or asking
X to use a graphic driver like the ati one.

i have posted on the howto (check a previous
reply for url and look around) a X Window
XF86Config file. i used framebuffer rather than
the ati driver and it worked perfectly fine,
but the ibook is very, very sensitive to the
horizontal and vertical refresh rates you
select (and vertrefresh has to be locked to
a single value). using the good freq should
do the trick. i saw no difference between using
ati driver or framebuffer (except that when
X dies the whole console gets messed)
