I'm not sure how you set it up. I'll E-mail you a XF86Config file for a=20
GEForce card for comparison.

You should:

1) run:

XFree86 -configure

2) Run XFree86 -xf86config XF86Config.new
     CTL+Alt+Backspace terminates it

3) Edit the Section "Screen" as desired.=20

4) Retest.

5) Transfer XF86Config.new to /etc/X11/XF86Config
