Got the message from fontconfig about fonts not
being configured, this on a laptop. So I did...

>sudo fc-cache

...and launched again. This time Sodipodi did not
give the prior message, but fonts are incredibly tiny,
only one pixel high...little black dots with spaces
between...and only in Sodipodi.

So I do...

> sudo find /-name "fonts.conf"

...and get...

/usr/pkg/etc/fontconfig/fonts.conf
/usr/pkg/share/examples/fontconfig/fonts.conf

...but nowhere else. Is this right? I tried
running fc-cache again fully as root, no sudo.
But no change effects.

Any clues?

Thanks
