Dear Stefan,

Thank you very much! 
As Mirko Thiesen pointed out to me, Siemens-Nixdorf does not really exist any 
more. I called up Fujitsu-Siemens, but they could not help me - or did not 
want to. They told to me to call ITS (Siemens IT Services), but they could 
not help me, either... The machine was just too old, they said. 
But as apparently this machine does not support NetBSD or something like 
that. Thus I am afraid my question does not belong here. 
If anyone is willing and able to help me, I'd greatly appreciate that, but 
this should obviously take place via eMail.
