One problem with postscript is that it is programming language, we
haven't seen any postscript viruses yet - but only because bits of
windows are so easy to use.

I know someone who (a few years ago) generated a faster FFT routine
for a slowish 8bit system by writing it in postscript and using his
postscript printer as a co-processor.
