The drivers on the webpage I cited are XFree 4 drivers for this video,
and one of them works fine on this machine, only with Linux running it.
There is a NetBSD version there also, but I don't get the same 
positive results running it with NetBSD X.

The output of scanpci is similar for both my Linux and NetBSD
partitions: it says in so many words "you have a valid card
configuration but I can't find it in my header file." Now, what I find
interesting is that this does not preclude the savage driver obtained
from that website from working rather excellently on the Linux install!  

Should I be trying to build xsrc.tgz?
