I have often drawn away from my computer for extended
periods of time, of which I forgot to disconnect my ppp
connection to the ISP.
Has anyone had this problem, and have you tried writing
a daemon (preferably in PERL) which would watch the ppp
port and disconnect it after activity dropped to, or below
a certain level for an extended period of time?
Has anyone had success with this problem?
