Dear Gan,
This might be not exactly what you want, but ...
I have http://mydivaplayer.com/html/diva.html which is only a bit larger,
than those jumpdrives, and I can use flash cards (up to 512 mb), it can also
work as a flash reader, mp3 player and voice recorder, no major problems on
NetBSD, FreeBSD, Linux and W2k.
If you want something smaller from Daisy Technology, I'd suggest MusicPen
(which, as I suppose, should have the same "core" for USB communications).
