I don't know anything about netatalk.
But from my experience of AppleTalk, assuming "-net 1-65534" means
network range for rtk0 and assuming -addr determines address for rtk0,
argument of -addr should be between 1 and 65534.
Or if -addr 65280.214 is correct, you should select correty network range.

65427(=0xff93) is in startup range, maybe you should change the
argment of -net to 65280-65534.
