On powerful machines it can be used too. Compilations
don't always eat up all CPU power available there,
so -j helps. And we also got the Intel HyperThreading
now : one cpu, appears as two (at least in the bios).

I wonder how such CPU would appear under NetBSD.
Anyone got a dmesg ? ;-)
