hi,
I'd a look in the archives ( quickly) about appletalk with netbsd. I
used ton install it on linux machine. Maybe that I missed a step,
because it doesn't work.
I have used netatlk-1.6.1 to install it.
My configuration is :
rc.conf
    atalkd=YES
    afpd=YES
    papd=YES
    timelord=YES
I put atalkd, afpd papd timelord in /etc/rc.d/
/etc/services contains afpovertcp    548/tcp    ,   afpovertcp 548/upd
The file /etc/netatalk/atalkd.conf contains :
rtk0 -phase 2 -net 1-65534 -addr 65280.214

 nbplkud on the terminal :
netbsd# nbplkup
                         netbsd:AFPServer
65280.214:130
                         netbsd:TimeLord
65280.214:128
                         netbsd:netatalk
65280.214:4
                         netbsd:Workstation
65280.214:4

my other macs don't find it connected.
 atlookup -d on macosx terminal :
Found 1 entries in zone *
65427.131.128   cornelii:Darwin

Regards

Cornelii
