Hello,

how can I copy text from one console to another one on the same
machine?

I guess that the solution has something to do with the mouse (in Linux
the solution were a program called gpm using the mouse), but I don't
succeed in using the mouse within a NetBSD console. Here the lines of
my kernel configuration containing the word "mouse":

|#pckbc* at pnpbios? index ?	# PC keyboard/mouse controller
|pms* at pckbc? # PS/2 mouse for wsmouse
|wsmouse*	at pms? mux 0
|#(# wsmouse* at ums? mux 0
|#(# lms0	at isa? port 0x23c irq 5	# Logitech bus mouse
|#(# mms0	at isa? port 0x23c irq 5	# Microsoft InPort mouse
|#(# wsmouse*	at lms? mux 0
|#(# wsmouse*	at mms? mux 0
|#olms0	at isa? port 0x23c irq 5	# Logitech bus mouse
|#omms0	at isa? port 0x23c irq 5	# Microsoft InPort mouse
|pseudo-device	wsmux # mouse & keyboard multiplexor

I've NetBSD 1.6, a binary package collection for i386 (6 CDROMs, I
guess the official ones), downloaded and compiled the kernel sources.
My mouse is of type PS/2 wheel (Linux works with the line type=imps2
in /etc/gpm.conf). How shall I proceed?

Regards
  Thomas

PS.: I don't want to offend anybody when using the Linux terms like
gpm, but they may help some (not all) readers to understand me rather
than if I - as a total NetBSD newbie - would try to use NetBSD terms.
