just try 'glxgears' from an xterm.
Or if you want to attach it to a specific display (is this a remote X =
client?)
- don't use that hostname.  It does not work.

Hi there

I have netbsd 1.6 on an i386 200mmx
I'm having trouble with getting the glxgears and glxinfo
programs that reside in /usr/X11R6/bin/.

$ glxgears -display chikara:0
_X11TransSocketINETConnect: Can't get address for chikara
Error: couldn't open display chikara:0
$

I get this whether I have started X or not.
Can you help me with this problem? Because I am a graphics
programmer and would love to start doing some 3d work for Netbsd!
