i want to be able to log my firewall and my router to separate files. i
want each item, log states 0-7, to be put recorded in a separate file
i know in freebsd if you put the "=" before the type of notification
(local0.=debug as an example) you will only record that level of
notifications to a file.
this is what i have, but right now, nothing looks to be getting logged.
and yes, i did touch the files, so they all exist.
another thing, is there a way to indicate you want syslogd to record only
from particular ip addresses... sorta like the freebsd "-a" option?
