hi guys!

i have following problem. i use software that allocates huge amount of
memory and i'm not able to run it with some data because of the memory
limit in netbsd...

i tried ulimit -d 240000 and ulimit -l 240000 (shell is /bin/ksh) and
it's still not enough... if i try to allow more than certain value it
tells me

	ulimit: exceeds allowable limit

i think i could set higher limit for this case as root, but it's not
good solution... where are the limits stored? how can i change (or
better disable) them? system is 1.6 stable, on p4/1.8g, 512 mb ram, 1gb
swap.

thanks for any advice,

lubos
