I hate to keep bothering you good folks but I got good info from you before.
I'll try not to wear out my welcome.
I got a remote connection using Putty to port 22. It works fine. Now I
wanted to VNC to my Win2k work station that's hiding behind my new NetBSD
Fire Wall at the office. I would normally just type in the ip address and
connect. In the VNC help files it says I can just forward the port (i think
5800 or so) and it will work fine using the ip of the firewall. No problem,
right? Just lookup port forwarding in the man files. NOT...it's never that
easy for me. :-\ It appears that the version of NetBSD I downloaded was
trying to keep things small and didn't include man. When I type "man
anything" I get the "no entry" error. I haven't yet learned how to install
packages and stuff like that. Is there an easy way to install man so I can
look things up without bothering everyone with stupid questions? I havn't
even tried downloading stuff to BSD yet. (lame, huh?)
Thanks very much (again).
Fernando
PS: feel free to tell me how to forward a port. :-D
