I've just acquired a neat little laptop, a Digital Hinote Ultra II. I
can't get the base station (with built in ethernet) working, but the
actual laptop itself works flawlessly, along with the MIDI port on the
"media board" that clips on the bottom. This machine is intended to be a
MIDI sequencer, which it seems perfectly suited to.

However, I can't configure X to come up in at a decent depth or
resolution. The screen appears to be a 10.4" display with a C&T chipset
(which particular model I don't know as the Digital/Compaq/HP website
doesn't appear to have the specs for this beast). At the moment, X comes
up scrunched into the top left corner of the display, and wraps around
the top of the screen.

Has anyone successfully configured X on such a beast? Or else has anyone
got any tips on hand tuning X for slightly unusual laptop screens? Oh
yes, the machine is running -current (1.6N) and X 4.2.1.
