Hi,

My questions are not really NetBSD related...

Can anyone recommend me a special server mainboard (up to 300$)
for a P4 (I've not found any good for an Athlon)?
It should have at least grafics and network controllers onboard.
It's for a web/mail/database server with (yet) low traffic, and should
still run in three years.

My two favorits are currently:

  - Tyan Trinity i845E (2xLAN, RAID, grafics)
  - Intel "Woodruff" (2xLAN, RAID, grafics)

Both feature the same chipset. The Intel board even seems to have remote
managing features, which would be a big plus. But there's not too much
information about it, whether I can do serial over Ethernet or not.

Is it correct that with a 400 MHz front-side bus, DDR 266 RAMs have no
performance advantages against DDR 200 RAMs?

Any recommendations for good IDE harddisks?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

  Michael
