I get this same error on "make test" when trying to install module Tk
into Perl 5.8.0 on NetBSD 1.6 on i386. It happens both with CPAN and 
also with ordinary Perl make. It happens both on my Intel tower and on
my ThinkPad laptop.

Fails 25/25 tests for Perl "make test" each failure gives this error.
