A little off topic, if i may ....
Does anybody have any hints or experiences to share
concerning network cards?
I used to like the intel ether express pro cause it performed well.
However, it contained a bug upon initializing ipv6 en some other lockups.
The 3com cards had some problems with auto negotiation with switches.
I am not sure about the newer NIC from intel or 3com,
or about the gig nic's from these vendors.
Anybody has hints for these or run into bugs with the newer interfaces as well?
Any experiences concerning the speed of the newer nics?
