halting the install....

fdisk reports this:

# fdisk -u sd0

Do you want to change out idea of what BIOS things? [n]

All partitions 0-3 come up as:
<UNUSED>

# disklabel shows a normal *bsd style label that looks fine, but says
'fictious' under label:
