I took the easy route and paid extra for a "real lucent gold card" from
Avaya. I use my card every day, and beat the hell out of it, and I've
_never_ had so much as a single hiccup from it while running -current.

I've heard from others that the DLINK prism based cards are pretty good, but
I have no first hand experience with them. One advantage of a "real" lucent
wi card is that tend to output about 150mW instead of the 30-50mW that the
prism based cards put out, although I expect that this is a non-issue for
most people.

If you're lucky Kevin Lahey may subscribe to this list. He actually gets
paid to work with stuff and can give you a more authoritative answer.
