I have no resolution to this problem as of now.  In brief, trying to
build xmms from package source on a current system from Tuesday, I'm
getting the errors shown below.  Should I send-pr this, or are there
other steps to try first?

Nope, sorry, no core.  Anything else I need to fix?  I'm not sure how
I would adjust /etc/ld.so.conf -- do you have any suggestions?
