Hello,
Mozilla had very same problem with INET6 enabled on previous NetBSD's. F=
or=20
example, when I visit www.redhat.com with mozilla, it would take very lon=
g=20
time to open. Will get faster with INET6 disabled in kernel. Konqueror,=
on=20
the other hand, had no such problem. But then I have always compiled KDE=
=20
from pkgsrc instead of using precompiled ones. compiling KDE3 kept on=20
freezing my system on NetBSD1.6 so I am using the package version. =20
Unfortunately, the package version of Konqueror has problem opening certa=
in=20
webpages with INET6 enabled. It works fine, however, without INET6 enabl=
ed=20
in kernel. Try www.cnn.com with INET6 enabled kernel. Konqueror takes=20
forever to open that page. Even www.cbsnews.com. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
