I guess vlaqk is the value returned by the 'hostname' command, and that
'ping vlaqk' doesn't work.
You need to add an entry for it in /etc/hosts. If this host doesn't
have a fixed IP you can add it to localhost:
127.0.0.1 localhost vlaqk
