thanx Andrew,
It seems to work. But I have another problem right now.
The changed copyrighttext is now displayed, when I reboot the
maschine, but only at the top of the boot messages. When I login to
the maschine, it=B4s still the old text:

SauPN-GATE/i386 (SauPN-Gate) (tty00)

P.S.: /kern/copyright is correct, it contains the new copyright text.

you shouldn't change those numbers, or even need to. add new ones if
you like, or make sysctl return the values of different variables so
that it appears to be something else, but remember that those values
are used by all sorts of things al over the place to determine the
capabilities of your code base. if you change them to something that
no one knows about, no one's code will compile very easily

from????

the top of main() in /sys/kern/init_main.c.
