post your XF86Config and make sure X is using that file to startup.

Also, are you using 3.3.6 or 4.x?

Subject: support for ATI Rage 128 PRO Video Adapter

Hi everybody,

I need some help to get NetBSD running on a PC with an ATI Rage 128 PRO=20
video adapter.

At the moment, I am using xf86config to setup X configuration. As the=20
system does not seem
to recognize the adapter it takes a generic SVGA running at 8 bpp and=20
320x200 ONLY. There
is no way to change resolution or colour depth no matter what I specify =
in=20
the XF86Config file.

Can somebody help??

Luca
