Does this happen everytime you quit lynx, or only when it is killed or
crashes?  Or does it always crash, even when you try to quit normally?
lynx should resture it's tty conditions on exit, but if it is killed (or
dies on a bug, etc.), it doesn't clean up properly.

In any case, ``stty sane'', as Stefan suggests, is a good way to restore
your tty to its initial login state, which should undo the damage done by
lynx.  (^&
