This is on the wscons console, right? I've heard of it, but I can't
reproduce it. It must depend on the system/video card.  Does it occur
on the 2.8.5 track, too? The lynx-current package is at 2.8.5dev7,
but

should probably compile out of the box on NetBSD using native curses.
