True - I'm not _yet_ a native NetBSD user.  I spend the majority
of my time on Linux and <gag> Winders...anyway, I keep forgetting
to check pkg_info...

Thanks for the tip.  The article was _very_ useful. 
Unfortunately, Sharity-light does not support encrypted
passwords.  I must use encrypted passwords on my server (NetBSD
1.5.2 w/Samba) because my other clients (Winders 2000) require
them.  Sharity does support encrypted passwords, but I'm not yet
ready to give up on finding something free...

I'll have to keep looking.
