another question about the i386pkg isos.

is it necessary to have xfree 4.2 installed, i think
yes, but i am not sure.
if yes, are there great differences between the binaries
at www.xfree.org, all i see is "for netbsd 1.5", or does
it not matter, because 1.5.3 is "only a patch release".

am i right in saying, if there are binaries for a major
release, eg. 1.5, they work with all "patch releases" of
that major release ?

or does it depend ?

now i first having a look at the package collection and
