Sometimes one of my TTY screens will lock up
so that I can do noting with it. Typing
"sane" doesn't seem to help.

In this last particular case, I was connected
to MySQL on a remote machine via SSH-IP-TUNNEL
when the screen went dead. Killing SSH via a
different TTY made the dead TTY go from this...

mysql>

...to this...

mysql> Killed
             gus1: {2} _

...which sort of made sense since the local box
is called "gus1" and "gus1: {2}" is what I expect
to see on the TTY. But it stays locked with the
curser where I have shown an underscore. I will
not respond at all.

Surely I can get it back without rebooting, yes?

Thanks,
