I'd say this depends on your graphics hardware and the architecture you're
using. On NetBSD/i386 mplayer is assumed to be the best and most performant
mpeg player followed by ogle and xine. dvdview isn't too bad and mpeg_play
might be the most portable but mpeg_play doesn't support sound, IIRC.
