Yes.  Freudian slip - it was the bootloader I was trying to snake.  Yes, I 
have read the docs.  Many times.  Sideways even.  Still looks as if tftp is 
the problem.  Cannot get a file remotely or anything.  I'll muck with it 
some more, but it's odd, as there are no wrappers or anything on it yet 
inetd reports no one attempting to take tftpd.  Oh well, thanks for trying.
