Howdy, 

Is there a way to adjust mouse resolution for my new
Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse? I got it working, as
reported earlier. But it is really quite trouchy. 

I have already reduced the preference setting in KDE2
for acceleration to 1x, down from 2x. But it is still
only about three inches from screen-edge to screen-edge
horizontally. Makes my hand hurt in less than an hour. 

Wider sweeping motions are less likely to do repetive
motion fatigue. I want to use the whole mouse pad for
the whole screen. That would be very nice. 

I wouldn't even mind doing surgery on the mouse, if that
is what it takes.
