...if you mean using FTP as the install method, that is correct.  The
default "remote path" for the FTP install is incorrect for snapshots.
When prompted, change it, i.e.:

/pub/NetBSD/arch/i386/snapshot/20020410-1.5ZC-XFree86-4.2.0/binary/sets
