I wantd to re-mount an NFS export that I'd set up (and used) in the past.
Most things work, but if I try to read a much data, the reading process
freezes. If I mount_nfs with -i, I can at least kill the frozen
processes. (Is there a graceful way to recover if I don't use -i? I gave
up waiting for an umount -f/shutdown, and just cycled the power.)

I've tried with and without -T.

I finally got it to work by *forcing* -2 (NFS version 2 protocol).

Given this information, can someone tell me why the default (NFS version
3) won't work? (I've used it in the past, I'm sure. I can't think of
anything that should be different now, offhand.)

Both systems in question are NetBSD 1.5.2. (I'm also getting receiver
ring buffer overruns. Those don't seem to be causing a problem, though
they appear to be a bit frequent for comfort.)
