I created boot floppies from the 1.5.2/i386/installation/floppy 
directory  on ftp.netbsd.org.

I started to, then realized I hadn't plugged the 10BaseT cable in.  
The DCHP chunk failed; I pluggd in the cable an configured a static
address (which is what I needed in the first place for clean access
to the firewall).

It happens I have a 486 here that I might be able to press into service for
the purpose.

I guess either choice is bound to disaffect half the people half the time.
Me, I use /etc/myname; I don't know that it's a great thing, but I don't have
to grep through rc.conf.
