Okay.  I used the 1.5.3 ALPHA shapshot on a cd and just used one of the =
kernels on it.  It seems to be working now.  This is very exciting!  :)  =

Upgrade to 1.5.3 (cvs update -dP -rnetbsd-1-5) as it has this fix.
From /usr/src/CHANGES-1.5.3:

	sys/dev/pci/if_ex_pci.c                         1.18

	  Improve intr_ack code to support 3c556 and 3c556B.
