It look to me like a problem with the pkg. In textproc/pyxml/Makefile there is

PYSETUPBUILDARGS+=      --ldflags=-Wl,-R${LOCALBASE}/lib 

-Wl, should not be passed to the linker.

Please send-pr.

The output of 

	cc --version 

and

	echo __ELF__ | cc -E -

would be useful.
