I first toyed with Red Hat 6.x somewhat -- before switching to NetBSD.

I switched partly because LILO hung on Red Hat so that I could not 
boot. I never learnt why, but I lost both Linux and Win98 on my laptop 
at the time. That, at least, has never happend to me on NetBSD.

And...I have to say that the folks here on this help-line are ever so 
much more polite and helpful than was my own personal experience at the 
two KLUG meetings I had gone to here in Kalamazoo....way back when.

They put up with me. Is why I kinda drifted here and still hang around.
