On my box (Intel VS440FX motherboard), one BIOS upgrade actually added
support for higher-density SIMMs, so it was possible for me to go from 128MB
to 256MB.  I always try to keep my BIOS current.  I also keep the upgrade
floppies around, so I can roll back to a previous version if the upgrade
breaks something.
