I'm curious as to what I'm doing wrong:
I am booting the CD install of 1.5.2 on a PC.
On booting, I configure the network with dhcp, then proceed with
installation.
According to the installation guide, the network settings should be
retained, however this is not the case. On rebooting, there is no
hostname, no resolv.conf, and only the loopback device is active.
If I shell out after the install, I see the relevant files having been
created on the ramdisk, but they never seem to make it to the new
install.
Have I skipped a step, or is this symptomatic of some common problem?
