I am a MacOS 10.1 user. I have also used a few un*x like distributions
in the past on some of my machines (linux, netbsd, freebsd). So,
anyway, i'm using MacOS X now and I would really like to use the NetBSD
package system as one of my software installation/maintenance managers.
I am also using Fink (a new MacOS X package manager, though not nearly
as robust). Again, i'd like to be able to use the NetBSD package system
as well. Currently, I have part of the system already downloaded from
CVS. I have all of the build instructions and such, but I don't have
any of the tools (e.g. pkg_* -pkg_add, etc...). I can't find the source
code specifically for these tools and i'm afraid that are part of the
larger, basic system install. Currently, I am not at all sure whether I
can do this or not, but I would like to try if someone can help me
through the process.
Thanks in advance,
Patrick Wood
